Over the same period, prices for table grapes in Tajikistan fell by an average of a quarter. This is partly due to a decrease in demand for Tajik products after unexpected snowfalls. Now the most expensive grapes in Tajikistan are dark and black varieties. They give about 50 cents per kilogram for it. The cheapest are pink and red varieties, farmers can get an average of about 32 cents per kilogram.
The prices for grapes are more leveled in Moldova. The most expensive are pink and red varieties wholesale buyers are willing to pay about 58 cents per kilogram for them. Moldovan farmers sell white and black table grapes at 47 cents per kg and Moldova grapes at 53 cents per kg on average.
